Love to be a fool – Pyrite

Pyrite is also called the fool’s gold and I feel it is a beautiful name. Is there anything more beautiful than becoming a fool? Not in the sense of the “money power reality world” where it is meant condescending and negative ….. No, but in the true sense of the word where the fool dares to let go of being serious, dares to laugh at himself, dares to challenge the common ways of doing things, dares to search for the edges in life and knows of no limits. This wonderful fool that is hiding in every single one of us. This wonderful fool that find creative ways beyond common laws and thinking. It is to this fool that the golden pyrite belongs. It is this innocent and happy fool who can benefit from contacting the pyrite. The pyrite uses its shiny surface to reflect our inner fool. For those not being in touch with these inner qualities the encounter with the pyrite can turn out to be quite painful. For those not daring to acknowledge the fool within, the pyrite will be uncomfortable to be close to. They might be attracted to the golden surface from a distance – all this shiny glitter – but coming closer they will feel fooled. Whereas for those wanting to get in touch with the fool inside, for those daring to be less serious about themselves, for those who truly want to explore, for those who dare to be true to themselves, for those who are willing to play ….. they will all get the true gold from the pyrite. Pyrites golden medicine is to provide a mirror for our innermost values. It confronts us with the things we wanted and never did – never mind the excuses – and if we are willing to take a step forward it promises us golden support in the quest for our true self.

A true friend who gives true gold to the true fool …. and who fool the rest.

So, who is the fool?
